What is an inert alumina ballDateline:2021-02-09

Corundum high-alumina inert alumina non-porous ceramic ball refers to the aluminum content up to 99% of the ceramic ball. It has the characteristics of high purity, high strength, high temperature resistance, high pressure resistance, acid and alkali corrosion, good thermal stability, stable chemical properties, catalytic reforming device, isomerization device, demethylation device and so on. Used as catalyst, molecular sieve, desiccant, etc., in the reactor and column packing. It can also be used to store ceramic balls. Its main function is to increase the gas-liquid distribution point, support and protect the low strength active catalyst.

The physical and chemical properties of corundum high-alumina inert alumina non-porous ceramic balls are as follows:

(1) SiO 2+ Alou3 (>99%) and FeO 3 (<1%) with corundum as the main crystalline phase;

(2) Cl- content: <5 PPM;

(3) Arsenic content: <5ppm;

(4) Temperature resistance: not less than 800, maintain the original strength and toughness;

(5) temperature resistance change: the temperature rapidly increases 400/5 min, strength, toughness, temperature unchanged, the crack is not fried;

(6) Heat resistance: ≥1600;

(7) Compressive strength (kN/column) : 3-5 ceramic ball (>0.2); 5-7 Ceramic Ball (>0.65);

(8) acid resistance (%) : 99.98%; Alkali resistance (%) : 99.85%;

(9) water absorption rate (%) : ≤ 8%;

(10) Appearance: uniform roundness, no reinforcement;

(11) High mechanical strength;

(12) It does not release harmful ingredients under the specified operating conditions;

(13) The surface of the porcelain ball has no crack, and the service life is more than 10 years.
