Ceramic corrugated packing is a new type of structured packing. It has the advantages of large flow, high efficiency, low resistance, low cost, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance (500-700oC), high flexibility of operation, no obvious expansion guilt and so on. Therefore, it is used in the separation process of high temperature corrosive media. Working pressure is between 0.1 kPa and 500 kPa (1-5000 mbar). Ke-Rapak packing was used in 1976 to separate chlorinated organic matter by rectification and has been in good operation since then. Ceramic corrugated packaging also has a good application in China. Model 470 filler is used instead of floating valve tower to produce polyformaldehyde. The economic benefit will increase by 400 thousand yuan per year. Type 400 fillers also have many industrial applications. In short, the main application areas of ceramic corrugated packing are:

1, the number of corrosive mixtures with pressure drop and theoretical distillation plates, absorption (desorption) and so on is strictly required;

Vacuum operation at 2.100 Pa(1mbar) pressure;

3, glass and enamel column, stainless steel, commonly used in the manufacture of glass and graphite spreader, and collector grid and other tower support components;

4. The distillation of halogenated organics is its main application area.

Used as heat exchanger, defogging agent or catalyst carrier.

It is worth noting that the use of such fillers is limited or inappropriate in the presence of large amounts of aqueous inorganic acids and lye. In addition, there is the inconvenience of heavy weight, assembly, disassembly and cleaning.
